Platinum Screen is a broad health check from one blood sample and one urine sample. On top of the core markers it adds inflammation, long-term blood sugar, vitamin D and iron stores, so it gives a much fuller picture of how you are doing and why you might feel tired or run down. What it checks: • Full Blood Count – red and white blood cells, haemoglobin and platelets • Kidney health – creatinine, eGFR, urea, sodium, potassium, chloride and phosphate • Liver health – ALP, ALT, AST, GGT, bilirubin and albumin • Heart health – total, LDL and HDL cholesterol, cholesterol ratio, triglycerides and hsCRP (inflammation) • Diabetes – glucose and HbA1c (your average blood sugar over 2–3 months) • Bone health – adjusted calcium, phosphate, ALP and vitamin D • Iron stores – ferritin • Urine check – protein, glucose, ketones, blood, white cells, nitrite, bilirubin, urobilinogen and pH Who it is for: adults who want more than a basic check-up, people who often feel tired or low in energy, anyone who spends little time outdoors (vitamin D), and people with a family history of diabetes or heart disease. Your result: a clear medical report with clinician interpretation, explaining what each result means and whether anything needs follow-up with your GP. Sample: blood and a urine sample, both taken at the clinic. Preparation: avoid food for 8–10 hours before your appointment for the most accurate cholesterol and glucose results.
