The Optimal Male Profile is a comprehensive male hormone and general health screen, built for men who are on testosterone replacement therapy or considering starting it. It measures 42 individual biomarkers from a single venous blood sample, and every result is reviewed and interpreted by a clinician. Testosterone treatment affects far more than testosterone. It can raise red blood cell counts, shift cholesterol, suppress your own FSH and LH, convert to oestradiol, and place additional demand on the liver and kidneys. This profile checks all of those alongside your hormones, so you and your prescriber can see the whole picture rather than a single number. Testosterone follows a daily rhythm and is at its highest in the morning, so this gives the most reliable result. • Please attend fasted — nothing to eat or drink other than water beforehand. • Please avoid strenuous exercise and sexual activity for 48 hours before your appointment. Both can temporarily alter testosterone and related hormone levels and make your results harder to interpret. • If you are already on treatment, please tell us when your last injection or application was when you book. Monitoring results are normally read against where you are in your dosing cycle. • Bring a list of any medication you take, including any testosterone product, its dose and how often you use it. ▸ WHAT IS INCLUDED • A 30-minute appointment at any Easy Medical Centre clinic, nationwide. • Venous blood sample taken by a trained clinician — not a finger-prick kit. • Analysis by our UKAS-accredited laboratory. • A written report with clinician interpretation of every result. An Easy Read version is available on request. • Results in 1-3 days, which you are free to share with your prescriber, GP or specialist. ▸ TERMS • Your results are reported with reference ranges and a clinician's interpretation. If you are under the care of a prescriber, you are welcome to share your report with them. • Payment is required in advance. Once your appointment is confirmed we will issue an invoice; no payment is taken on the day. • Your appointment is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from us. If you do not receive it, the appointment will not go ahead. • Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. • Laboratory availability can change from week to week. Other clinic sites are managed by Randox Health, offering a range of healthcare services. Patients receive appointment confirmations via their preferred communication method, detailing time, date, and staff availability. If confirmation is not received, the appointment will not proceed. We reserve the right to cancel appointments with less than 24 hours' notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Patients should check confirmation messages for updates and contact the clinic if they need to reschedule or need assistance. All services must be paid for in advance, and an invoice will be sent upon appointment confirmation. Every sample is analysed by our UKAS-accredited laboratory, and every result includes clinician interpretation in a clear, comprehensive report.
