Advanced Well Woman Profile: Women's Health Blood Test in Crewe

Women's health needs change significantly throughout life — from hormonal shifts in your 20s and 30s to perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Many conditions that affect women most, including thyroid dysfunction, anaemia, hormonal imbalances, and ovarian health concerns, can go undetected for years without targeted testing.

At Easy Medical Centre in Crewe, our Advanced Well Woman Profile is a comprehensive private blood and urine test specifically designed for women, covering 66 biomarkers across 12 key health categories. The profile checks your female hormone balance (oestradiol, FSH, LH, progesterone, prolactin), CA-125 ovarian cancer marker, thyroid function, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk, liver and kidney health, diabetes markers, bone health, vitamin D, iron status, and full urinalysis — giving you a complete picture of your health in a single appointment.

On the day of your visit, our team will also measure your blood pressure, weight, height, and waist/hip circumference. You will receive a full Health Report with results colour-coded for easy reading — no GP appointment needed to understand what your results mean.

Our partner laboratory is RCLS, UKAS Accredited Lab 9329. Results are typically available within 3–5 working days.

Advanced Well Woman Profile in Crewe — Your Questions Answered

What does the Advanced Well Woman Profile test for?

The profile covers 66 biomarkers across 12 health categories — including female hormones (oestradiol, FSH, LH, progesterone, prolactin), CA-125 ovarian cancer marker, thyroid function, cholesterol, liver and kidney health, diabetes markers (glucose, HbA1c), bone health, vitamin D, iron status, and full urinalysis.

How is the Advanced Well Woman Profile different from the Perimenopause Test?

The Advanced Well Woman Profile is a comprehensive full-body health check covering 66 biomarkers across all major health categories. The Perimenopause Test is more focused — it targets the specific hormonal markers relevant to perimenopause and menopause. If you're experiencing perimenopausal symptoms specifically, the Perimenopause Test may be more targeted; if you want a complete picture of your overall health, the Advanced Well Woman Profile is the better choice.

Do I need to fast before this test?

Yes, fasting for up to 12 hours before your appointment is recommended for accurate glucose, cholesterol, and insulin readings. You can drink water normally. Some hormone markers may also be affected by food intake.

Does the timing of my menstrual cycle affect the results?

Yes, for the most accurate hormone readings (especially progesterone and LH), timing matters. Ideally, book your appointment on day 2–5 of your cycle for baseline hormone testing, or day 21 for progesterone. Contact our team if you need guidance on the best timing for your test.

How long does it take to get results?

Results are typically available within 3–5 working days, delivered by email with a full colour-coded Health Report that clearly flags any results outside the optimal range.

Can I book this test as a gift for someone?
