It's transmitted by the bite of the female Anopheles mosquito in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. There are 5 types of Plasmodium that cause the disease in humans; Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum ( P. falciparum) are the most common. Every sample is analysed by our UKAS-accredited laboratory, and every result includes clinician interpretation in a clear, comprehensive report. An Easy Read version is also available — just request it when booking.
Cancellation Policy
Booking can be cancelled or rescheduled 24hr before appointment time. We cannot process full refund less than 24 hours notice before appointment time and money can not be refunded.
