Service Description

One blood test. Around 300 allergens. Clear answers at last. If you live with sneezing, itchy eyes, rashes, swelling or reactions you can't explain, guessing what's behind them is exhausting. Our Advanced Allergy Blood Test uses the latest molecular allergy testing to check one blood sample for IgE antibodies to around 300 allergen extracts and molecular components. £399, all-inclusive: your blood draw, laboratory analysis and a clinician-reviewed report. No hidden fees. Why patients choose this test — Everything in one appointment: pollens, foods, nuts, pets, dust mites, moulds, insect venoms and latex, plus your total IgE. — More than a yes or no: the test looks at the individual proteins inside each allergen. This helps show which sensitivities may carry a higher risk and which are likely cross-reactions, for example why hay fever can make some fruits itch. — No skin pricks and no food challenges, just one quick blood sample. — You don't need to stop your antihistamines before the test. — No fasting required. Who it's for — Hay fever, rhinitis or asthma symptoms that never fully settle — Eczema, hives or itching with no obvious trigger — Reactions after eating when you're not sure which food is responsible — Anyone who has reacted badly before and wants a detailed picture to share with their GP or allergy specialist What you receive — Your personal allergy profile across around 300 allergens, grouped so it's easy to read — Clinician interpretation in a clear, comprehensive report — An Easy Read version on request — Results in 2-5 working days How it works 1. It doesn't test for food intolerances such as lactose intolerance. A positive result shows your immune system is sensitised to an allergen, which doesn't always mean you'll react to it, so results are always read alongside your symptoms. If you've ever had a severe reaction, keep following your doctor's advice and carry any prescribed medication. Why Easy Medical Centre Rated 4.8 stars on Google by nearly 200 patients. Every sample is analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory and every result comes with clinician interpretation. We're a real team of clinicians who look after you from booking to results.
