Service Description

When testing for sibling relationships, the DNA laboratory will determine the genetic profile of the possible siblings and will calculate a sibling DNA index or likelihood ratio. Full siblings usually have more DNA in common than half-siblings, while half siblings normally share more DNA than unrelated persons. Unfortunately, It is the industry’s best kept secret that for most laboratories but sibling testing can be up to 40% inconclusive. This means that four people in every 10 do not get the result they have paid for. At our award-winning DNA laboratory, we have reduced this inconclusive rate to 24%, meaning that only around one in four people do not get a definitive outcome.

Cancellation Policy

Booking can be cancelled or rescheduled 24hr before appointment time. We cannot process full refund less than 24 hours notice before appointment time and money can not be refunded.
