How Can You Find Out If You Have HIV? One and the only way to find out whether you have HIV or not is by conducting a medical test. Medical tests are conducted. Some people may tend to obtain some flu-like symptoms within three weeks of infection with HIV. This phase is called acute HIV infection. If you possess any of these risk factors, you ought to undergo testing at least once per year: You have had sexual relations with people of either gender. You've had multiple sexual partners since your most recent HIV test. You shared needles while injecting narcotics. You traded sexual favours for drugs or cash. You were found to have another STD, according to the diagnosis You engaged in sexual activity with someone whose sexual history you don't know or who has HIV. Can HIV Be Prevented? The only surefire way to avoid contracting HIV is to never share needles and to refrain from having intercourse. Other clinic sites are managed by Randox Health, offering a range of healthcare services. Patients receive appointment confirmations via their preferred communication method, detailing time, date, and staff availability. If confirmation is not received, the appointment will not proceed. We reserve the right to cancel appointments with less than 24 hours' notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Patients should check confirmation messages for updates and contact the clinic if they need to reschedule or need assistance. All services must be paid for in advance, and an invoice will be sent upon appointment confirmation. Every sample is analysed by our UKAS-accredited laboratory, and every result includes clinician interpretation in a clear, comprehensive report. An Easy Read version is also available — just request it when booking.
Cancellation Policy
Booking can be cancelled or rescheduled 24hr before appointment time. We cannot process full refund less than 24 hours notice before appointment time and money can not be refunded.
